How to Become a Delegate
Delegates are the active stewards of BOB governance. They vote on BAPs on behalf of tokenholders, engage with the community on key decisions, and help drive the DAO’s mission forward across three focus areas: Bitcoin Banking, Technical, and Growth & Ecosystem.
We encourage every token holder to delegate their tokens to a delegate of their choice. Alternatively, if you prefer to vote directly, you can also self-delegate and participate in voting yourself.
Is This Role for You?
Good delegates are curious, engaged, and consistent. They read BAPs carefully, share their perspective publicly, and show up when it counts. Whether you’re a developer, a DeFi power user, a community builder, or a researcher — there’s a place for you.
What delegates do:
- Vote on spending, technical, and governance BAPs
- Engage with BAP authors during the discussion phase
- Represent the interests of tokenholders who delegate to them
- Help shape the direction of the BOB ecosystem over time
